We've just had an experience that will turn some of our readers green with envy! So, to try to assuage your enmity a bit, we'll share our experience with you. We just returned from a weekend on the set of the new CITIBOYZ videos (numbers #14 and #15 - as ¬et untitled) and had the opportunit· to meet and get to know all of the cast and crew...and what a cast and crew it was! Everyone gathered in Miami, from points all over the country and, once assembled, set out for beautiful Key West, Florida and to begin work. We traveled in two vans, overflowing with equipment and luggage and ALLBOY went along for the ride! So come along with us and get to know everyone a bit better. It's going to be "almost" as good as being there. Our destination was the beautiful, and friendly luxury gay resort in Key West, the SEA ISLE RESORT, where co-owners Randy and Jim along with their staff were eagerly awaiting the arrival of the "twink" contingency for what turned out to be a great weekend of video making. Between scenes, we were able to sit down with CITIBOYZ founder/producer/director Steve Shay and ask him how his wonderful company came into being: Here's what he had to say: Well, I didn't start out with the company as a complete novice. I had had 15 years of video work and had been a professional photographer for 25 years before that, so you could say I had already learned m· "trade" before I began shooting gay porn. I had always been fascinated with pornography. I remember when I "intercepted" a letter to my father marked ¬adult material," and, knowing that it was obviously a mistake, I confiscated it. I was utterly fascinated with the explicit sex and began collecting porn right then and there. I knew I was gay (but didn't come out until my first year in college) but also loved young guys. So, I collected everything I could find on college-age (18 to 21 year old) models. Then the opportunit¬ came along for me to work for Men's Den Productions and I did a video for them called "Hot Poppers." When a well-known amateur video producer specializing in young guys advertised, I bought all of their videos, sat down, and watched every one of them. Dick in hand, I realized after awhile that they weren't a turn on. So, I decided that I could do better work than that. And in the two years I've been producing videos, I think I've proved myself right. Knowing that there was a definite need for material in a certain niche, I decided to go to work for myself. And, I've loved every minute of it, including the sometimes-difficult task of working with young guys who are still involved in drama, haven't really learned to be responsible or cooperative. The great thing they do bring is their energy, enthusiasm, willingness to try new things, and, of course, their beauty. I am very careful about the temptations with these young guys because I like young men, but I have a 19 year old lover and I refuse to become involved in what I believe is the "sleaze" side of the video business--seducing the actors--so I have the respect of most of them, I think Steve says that he also believes in being responsible. "I insist that everyone practice safe sex at all times during my videos. I would be devastated if anything happened to one of my actors as a result of anything we did. During the following three days, while watching these young colts frolicking about, totally uninhibited and carefree (with bits of twink drama thrown in here and there including one cast member going to the hospital with a kidney stone, but recovering quickly) we talked with the cast and crew. One of the actors, se·y Gage Powers (21 years old), is also a member of the crew, not only taping some of the scenes, but also shooting stills and being the "den mother" to the rest of the cast. Gage has been in seven of the 15 videos but his first "topping" scene will be in video number 15. From Joplin, Mo, Gage always wanted to model and so, a couple of years ago he was in Orlando, Florida when he sent in some Polaroid's to Badpuppy Enterprises on a dare, "and within two weeks I was being shot for their 'Thanksgiving Boy," he says. Then Steve from Citiboyz contacted me and, that started it all. I love porn; I also love young guys and find performing really easy. I'm a real sex-fiend and can get it on numerous times a day." Gage has his own company, boystudios.com and loves to receive email. Diminutive Ethan Masters is also an actor/crew member, with four videos to his credit. He's 19, only 5'4" tall, has brown hair and blue e¬es, an amazing 8" dick and describes himself as "versatile." "I'm not sure I'm gonna be in this business, at least not the porn side, forever," he sa¬s, "but I'm gonna' go back to college, get a degree in film production and multi-media and want to stay in the field. I also love to get email (at ethanmasters@aol.com) and he likes all kinds of guys, as long as you're not too sissy or fat. 19-year-old Blake Ashton has been with Citiboyz from their very first video. He's from Aurora, IL and says that he's always been gay. "I said yes as soon as I was asked to do a video," he says. I bottomed for Carrigan Wade in my first video. I love oral and foreplaÄ the best.¬ Blake loves animals and has 19 parrots and lots of cats and dogs. Liam Anderson, a striking blond boÓ from Melbourne, Australia is the real-life lover of porn star Trevor Hobbs. He has appeared in American Way and a couple of solo videos and this is his first video with Citiboyz. Liam loves his 10" dick and says that it has been very, ver¸ good to him. Andrew Blaze, 19 years old lives in Orlando, Florida and this is his first video work. He came out a year ago (met a guy in the park and they went home and fucked) and he wants to continue working in porn. "I love it! I love sex and doing it with beautiful young guys and getting paid for it, what could be better?œ He loves to bottom ("But I'm versatile"). Joey Landis, handsome 22-year-old, from Lexington, KY did his first video when he was 18 (for a now defunct company) and is also appearing in a not-yet-released video for YMAC. He sent his photos to Citiboyz and "here I am!· He tops in the videos (and only bottoms for his boyfriends). Eion Reilly is an Irish lad from Baltimore and this is not only his first video, but he's--believe it or not--a virgin! "What?Ñ we shouted. "Yep," he responded, "if you don't count masturbation." Eion is 19, cute as a button, 5'6" inches tall, 125 pounds and says he's doing this video strictly for a lark. "I think it will give me self-confidence," he says. Eion bottomed for one of the other actors and loved it Üfrom the very minute that dick went into my butt." This is his first gaá video, "as a matter of fact, it's my first ga· anything," he declares. Kent says he's bisexual and the only gay experience he had was when a drunken friend gave him a blowjob. "I wanted the experience,¬ he tells us, and wanted to travel to Florida. We checked on Kent later on and he declared that he'd had a great time and, although he'd only top, he did suck a dick or two and loved it. He wants to become a chef someday and is going to school.
